Hi, i've recently contacted MARIXSPL, shipping for RMA is now handled by them.
customers no need to bear shipping back to factory, MARIXSPL will bear the shipping
instead, but rma process will take a while according to them. Bought any 2 units from them.
Got promo again. Keke. They were banned due to advertising. Lolz. Wanna see
their promo, have to check their thread at vr zone forum.

Anyway, services wise, think they have done quite well so far with several good
remarks from forumers here & over the other end. Considering they commit in
putting up demo units, technical staffs to assist the users.

They r currently revamping their website, so we shld see something soon.
Zonetech, remember tat MARIXSPL is an authorized distributor, their stocks
r from FOSCAM factory direct, they've even posted their distributor cert online.

So means other reseller like ali2.com (who also sell FOSCOM) might not be the authorize distributor ?

I bought 5 units Foscam cameras, 3 FI8918W and 2 FI8909W from Foscam Singapore. However, yesterday I found some bug with the FI8918W camera. Normally I use wireless but yesterday i change one of my camera to cable and found this. If I use LAN cable instead of Wireless connection, the pan and tilt is not responsive and the web UI keep disconnected every few seconds if i tried to pan or tilt. If I didn't pan or tilt, it was fine. But if I use wireless, no issue at all. I tried change cables and ports, seems no different. And then also tried on those 3 cameras and all behave the same if I use LAN cable. Anyone got this issue?

You can check with them and ask them for authorized certs, they should have it if they are authorized distributors.
Even the guy I bought before from US can show me the certs.

Try resetting your cameras and setup again, if still cannot, I think you may need
to re-flash your firmware to try again. If still cannot, then see if Foscam
Singapore can help you with it. Mine doesn't have such problem at all.

LifeCam VX-2000

My Friend from the US gave me a LifeCam VX-2000 with everything bundled, the manual etc. I did the installation but it's really not working for me, I don't know why. And I'm even using Windows 7 OS for this and they don't support their product?
