I am using 4 units of Wanscam HW0021 for past 6 months in my house. All are working well. Cam has HD resolution with IR-cut and IR-LEDs together with Pan and Tilt. I bought it from China Online Merchant below S$95

I got excellent support from Wanscam during initial period and pointed out few drawbacks in their camera software, which are already improved. They have a good Andriod app, which I am using, it allows you to see all 4 cameras on one screen. A good layout of cam controls in the app. They also have in-built DDNS.

They also have nice Super Client wihch allow upto 36 camera and WebUI which allow upto 9 camera in one screen. :D

So far so good. :D

Good to hear that. I planned to lay a hand on Wanscam HW0024 to test if it meets my requirement. :D

No worries, they have launched their online shop liao. MARIX IT DISTRIBUTION (S) PTE LTD | Premium IT Product Distribution Channel in Singapore, there is a SHOP link which you can purchase online. Saw that they bundled their usual cameras with 32GB microSD Card (Class 10).

Receive an sms from them to use the online shop to get more better deal off their normal sales price for a limited time only.

I do not see the T7837WIP and T6835WIP anymore on sales. They really seems to have discontinued it... wow... very short lifespan

It's very unhealthy for the products and also make me wonder what's wrong with the discontinue models. If you see foxcam, their products really take time to phase out. Oh well, I guess fast $$ in business is normal. But for me I won't choose that brand though.. I just have no confidence. :s8:

Well, i guess business is still business. If rma rate is high, even I wouldnt b keen either. Or maybe there is newer refresh model?

We would like to just clarify that we have stopped supplying various models as we are refreshing these units proprietary to MARIX's chain of distribution. So those who purchase from parallel importers will not get these supplies/differences.

You can see the demo on their webpage and play around with settings. If you find the demo link is dead, use Skype to talk to Wanscam CS online and they will give you a live link.

does that mean the export sets sold by Marix won't be covered by warranty in Singapore?

cos I see them carrying "12 Months Repair Warranty (Carry-in) for Factory Defects" for the export sets too.

so what's the difference between the $129 and the $199 other than the SD card and the PSB power adapter?

My guess is got repair warranty but no support in SG. Go back to factory for tech support. If totally no warranty. They shld put as no warranty for export set.

Hi all, for the clicking sound in vStarCam T series even in the latest model it's still there. May I confirm there's nothing we can do about it ?

I read that there was a reply from the factory that it's a normal behavior for the camera.
