Hi gecko, I'm not sure when u reported this issue and was it reported here or direct to marix? I remembered u posted a review and I checked again, it was post #3185. Maybe I missed it somewhere.

It was also becos of your review which made me purchased the zafego. Hope it's just a simple firmware fix. To me, image over audio, as I just monitor my kids with helper at home whenever we r at work. Seldom listen or talk over the cam.

Bro, the firmware was after my review. Marix advised that their counterpart adjusted the power of LED to match latest requirement of illumination and to extend longer the life of these lamps. But SG end had asked to increase the intensity of these lamps. We shld hear something soon

Sineoji

Having made the switch from Vstarcam, I would say my experience with Sineoji PT492 & PT593 has been good. Very responsive panning and MicroSD reviewing on 4G network. Not perfect but more improvements are expected. 👍

at Comex last year saw the image quality was decent but the video was alittle sluggish compared to other cameras. Is that the same now ?

i read good support for sineoji products especially the homeplugs.

yes, i can voach for that,

you can have them com eover to try their homeplugs. on spot

if happy with speeds can buy their product on the spot if not no harm done.

even if you buy their product elsewhere they will also come over your house and optimze for you to get the best speeds.

they dont charge any penny, only when you buy their products you have to pay ofcuz

im using their homeplugs - really is top notch. That's why previously before my FOSCAM camera, i was considering theirs but was disappointed. Hopefully it has improved

Pay a visit to Challenger Funan. Sineoji has a range of HD IP cams there on demo.

How's the PT593 panning compared to PT492 using 4G mobile data ?

The PT492 is instant panning using my mobile data :D

When I view the cam online, takes only 1 second to open up live using mobile data. :s13:

Is the PT593 viewing angle wide ?

Although 593 has a viewing angle of 125° compared to the 98° of the other Sineoji HD cams, there is only a slight difference when used indoors in an HDB flat like mine. Everything else is the same.

indeed. sadly my lines are weak

getting 150 up/150-200 ish down -300Mbps fibire plan

i still grabbed their homeplugs. its top notch.

compared my old TP link powerline

i only get 50 Up/70down which is a joke!

their products are NOT cheap but performs very well and have great support

still worth to grab

if you have any clue on how i can improve my speeds, let me know

Yah, vstarcam's quality really dropped sia. bet tats why MARIX is not even keen to bring in the doorbell camera which is a copy of popular US door camera.

So, confirmed angle of Sineoji is 120+ viewing angle? Diagonally or horizontally?

125° is usually horizontal viewing angle. So far only the 593 is having 125°, the 492, 495 and 497 are 98°. I have both the 492 and 593, both function equally well albeit the price difference.

I am still considering on either the Sineoji or Foscam for its higher image quality as the price are pretty close.

Foscam C2 (1080p+120°) @ $179 and R2 (1080p+120°) @ $249 vs Sineoji (720p) cameras.

Hi Gribber,

Must often these days, "lag" is a concern for consumers while viewing their camera. Some often find that their camera can hardly Pan and Tilt when they are on the move while performing task such as remote viewing. When an incident happens at the vicinity where the camera is, it might be too late.

PT492V, PT495V, PT497V and PT593V are equipped with "Instant Swift". Viewing your camera live when you are out from your wifi network is almost real time and responsive pan and tilt functionality.

Almost all IP cameras are equiped with near realtime viewing especially those with onvif chipsets.

And most cameras delay is ard 1~2secs for pan/tilt. If you experience longer pan/tilt, high chances is your network lags over any other thing. A good router n low latency internet n mobile network helps.

To prevent lost of data evidence such as the recent child abuse case, make sure u have other recordin media like microsd cards, nas, nvr as evidences
