So COMEX is almost upon us!
I've been thinking what laptop to get and i need tips!
I just want a laptop to hook up to my 32" TV and play Dota 2.

I really like the Aftershock XG17 V2, ASUS ROG750 series, MSI GE series.

But i think its over kill for Dota 2 right?
So.. i'm at a crossroads.

Sleek sexy gaming notebook like the Aftershock / ROG or just a casual notebook to play my Dota 2?

I only have 1k to work with, maybe i can stretch to 1.2~ thereabouts.

Edit: i dont need thin light portable noteboos, throw me all that beefy power you can get for 1.2k!

Just get a cheap desktop? $800 can get you one to play dota 2 at max settings?

with your 1k-1.2k budget i doubt u can get aftershock xg17 v2, asus rog750, msi ge series... they all cost above 1.5k upwards. with that budget u cant get a good gaming laptop

Yeap! Well you can get something with that budget but you cant really play max settings on dota! Maybe low-med? You can only get GT graphic cards on that budget!

Dang... i did see the XG17 basic specs for $1456
