Dream scenario:

- Bought a kaya and cheese bun, cost $0.80

- Ate it without paying

- Realized I didn't pay, walk back to cashier to pay

- Cashier says since its half eaten its now $80

- Feeling '?!#%@#!' and then woke up feeling pissed

If this happens in real life, is it actually enforceable? Just to check, if say I don't want to pay $80 and ask cashier to call police, will I actually get a fine or something?
