Just a note to share my experience.

SGD to AUD is 1 to 1 right now, but the AUD to KRW rate is a little better than the SGD to KRW rate. So what I did on my trip in mid-March was I changed SGD to AUD, and brought the AUD to Myeongdong to change. The SGD rate was 816, the AUD rate was 825 or so.

Honestly it doesn't make that much of a difference if you're not changing large amounts, but it's an option that can be considered.

Best rate still at this particular money changer in myeongdong... not any money changer in myeongdong.

Changed in myeongdong at 809 when in SG highest showed 807.

I always check SG rate at https://cashchanger.co/singapore/sgd-to-krw

Anyway, not all Myeongdong money exchange rate are good. Only the one opposite cafe 1896 / Chinese embassy red gate which give better rate. There are other money changer around there, there's 2 red gate of the Chinese Embassy. Don't approach the wrong one.

That day when I changed 805, the other money changer in front of the other red gate was offering 800, and while walking around, saw other exchanger showing 790.

Walk a little bit to get a better rate. Especially if you're changing big amount.

Make sure first stop in Seoul is the Myeongdong

Out from Myeongdong Subway station exit 5, walk along migliore till junction where you'll see C&U, turn right into myeongdong 2-gil. Walk past myeongdong 8na gil, the second junction you'll see the money changer at the corner like below:

Changed today at the neighbour with red signs. 812 vs 811. Much better than the rate of 787 I got last week before my trip (changed enough to cover 1st day expenses).

Wasn't too difficult finding the exact moneychanger and it's really just outside the red gate of the Chinese Embassy.

Btw if anyone is lazy to walk there other moneychangers in Myeongdong were offering 806, 808 etc

seems that MD rate is better than SG.

Just share my recent exhange of won with Travelrex at Changi....
correct me if I am wrong.
I did the changing on 14/04/2018.
I changed SGD2000 to 1,566,000.00 won.
The value of SGD2000 is 1,646,844.11 won on the internet.

This exchange they (travelrex) profited like SGD100. I was like wa lao leh..
I changed NTD don't even this much differences, but 100. I know they need to earn from such services....
