If Singapore-KRW is low, so it means if we change KRW back to Singapore dollar, the rate will be high yeah as KRW appreciated against Singapore dollar.

Leftover Korean Won

Saw that rates in Korea is better than in Singapore as well so good for those who would like to change a little here first before going there to change. But note that not all money changers accept SGD. Only saw one money changer in Myeongdong that accept SGD with rate of +5 more than SG, the money changer is near New Balance that stretch towards Chungmuro Station. Other money changers mostly do not accept SGD so better to change in banks but bank rates might not be as good. If not have to change to USD first.

Have 639k won left, with two T-Money cards both loaded with at least 2k won each. (Note that T-money itself cost 2.5k won and need to be bought at convenience stores first before loading it with money for travel)

Anyone interested with the leftover won can PM me.

Just check the arcade rates, highest only can give me KRW 808 when I was changing 20 over thousands SGD. SAD! Last yr August the rate was 860, dropped so much!!

change at TPY yesterday for 810. The shop just opposite HDB Hub nearest to the big NTUC

Even though some money changers in Myeongdong do not display SGD, they do accept. Changed at 810 yesterday at one of them.

Myeongdong rate range from 810 to 814.
Todays 812.
I feel the rate is better nearer to metrohotel.
