Anyone know what kind of opportunity allows you to work from home (beside Stock and Forex). Eg Selling of Qoo10 or Amazon.
Anyone have been doing that as a fulltime income. Pls share... thanks

My humble opinion is not to waste your money...They would most probably be telling you stuff that you already know...Actually if you want to sell stuff online, you can also consider ebay, carousell, lazada, your own webshop or Fulfilled by Amazon...Good luck...

Agreed, even in the past, I never believed such 'workshops'. Just read online, there's TONS of information out there waiting for you to explore... as long as you're willing to do the work/research. After that, set a goal, create a plan, and do it.

If you still make mistakes, correct it, and proceed. Don't believe in 'get rich quick'. If you truly want to make a home business and succeed, then treat it exactly the same as you would run a full 'normal' business.

Hey, I can sell you my money making course for XXXX. Just PM me and you will be making big bucks! Seriously?! What you want to know or learn is all free! Just google it! Making 1-3k a month on your own is easy. The problem is how the business can scale up and you need experience and there are many roadblocks in any business. You have to try to overcome it yourself. Don't trust any gurus. If you are new to online marketing. You can try selling on some "free" site to test your products first.

1)eBay (Free in SG, some pending amount if new account on usa or uk)
2)Qoo10 (take note the 15 days money holding period before money is release to your Qoo10 account)

So where to source for products? aliexpress, taobao, 1688.com, amazon. Find, Buy and test your winning product first. Don't think about making big bucks or lowing your supplier's price first. You need numbers to lower your cost price. It is just that simple. Once you have found your winning product, you are just one step closer to your goal. There is so many more to talk about. I do agree there are tons of information of selling on Amazon, Qoo10, Ebay on the internet and is free.
My concern is, is it achievable, if you do not own a physical business, just by homebased freelance, able to sustain a fulltime income.

Yes, of course. But you need to expand your goals once your business is moving up. That is when you will need a warehouse if you are selling physical goods. There is this 2 sisters selling ladies stuffs online. Did it online at home, now they have a walk in shop at Yishun. It think they are called Shop now lah or something. Their qoo10 sales are amazing. If you are doing freelance, what are you thinking of doing? Web designing? Art & crafts? There are places for you to start out. Online, etsy, fiverr. offline - Flea markets are as cheap as $10 per day to $120 a day at shopping malls.

If you have tried forex, it is also one way to generate passive income. Try having a realistic goal like 5 - 10% a month, if you want to double your money then to be honest, a normal forex trader will burn 3 full accounts before profitable. Everyday is a learning process. Set your goals right, know what you want to do.
There is no holy grail!!!

You mention "sustain a fulltime income" What amount is that? 3k, 5k, 10k or more? Tell us more so we can help in whatever we can.

It is achievable but it is not easy. It is definitely harder as compared to having a full time job, but achievable. There are many people posting proof of their earnings in Internet marketing forums (well of course some are photoshopped to get you to sign up to courses, but there are real ones who just want to share their success).

Just remember that its all about traffic at the end of the day. Where and how are you going to get people to visit your site? If you are able to get people to visit your site, then you can then change around your products etc to increase conversion rate and so on..

Achievable, Yes...able to sustain, perhaps...Sustain a full-time income, probably... No one can give the assuarance or guarantee as if you see statistics, most business close down within the first year...Not saying all business ventures are doomed to fail, if you can find a niche market and do it full-time, it is achievable...So long as you do not have that much commitment, I don't see why you should not try it out or take some risks and see how it goes from there...

My suggestion is to keep your overhead low and a store is really not that practical if you want to sell stuff online...Take up part-time jobs if you have too and try to give 100% dedication to your business...Good luck...

More about myself. Currently I am running children education training business for 15 years. It is very tough and need to spend a lot of time on my business. My wife is expecting and our first baby is due end of the year.

I am thinking of doing business that can run from home. So that I can spend more time with my baby. If it grow big, my wife can quit her job and work together on this home online business.

Over the years, I have explored many opportunities. I started with internet marketing in 2005. Went to many seminars.. but found that alot of them are scam.. They buy their own "products" to prove the sales or they photoshop the result. This was the early days of internet marketing.

Then I went to learn stocks and forex. Attended many workshop also.
Currently, still do some forex trading. My skill is not there yet. Not able to earn a consistent and substantial monthly income.

Still exploring for more opportunities. The trend now is on e-commerce. Went for alot of preview for e-commerce business. I went to Qoo10 preview last month, look impressive, but not sure is it do-able for most people. I also google Amazon (FBA) Fullfillment by Amazon, look interesting too.

I am open for more opportunities.
