Hi not sure if you're thinking of rubber sole protectors instead. Those are also commonly referred to as "topy". For those around 30sgd.

Hm probably just check with your local cobbler. They'll see if they can cement a new sole on. Commonly recommended on this thread are kips n kwik in bishan and sole Mann in raffles place

Hello,

Just bought a new pair of dress shoes with anti slip rubber outsoles. As the heel always worn out very fast for me(probably due to the way i walk), I'm thinking to add on rubber soles and would like to check:

1) should i add on the rubber soles (heel and front) before my first wear or after wearing a couple of times?

2) from what i checked, vibram and topy are the popular ones. Recommended places are Kips and kwik and solemann.

any advice or experiences to share? thanks!
