Simpson last is narrow and people will usually size up by half.
If you have narrow feet then UK 6.5 would be fine, else I would suggest UK7.
Why not go to Carmina at Capitol to try out for yourself

6.5 shld be safe for eea 39. But keep in mind that for the Simpsons last, the killer is the instep. Your length and width can be perfect but you'll get rekt if your instep is too high

Hi,

I am comtemplating to get Meermin Double Monk. Currently I have a pair of LLYR Double Monk, size 44. I have emailed Meermin about my feet's details and I am keen on their sizing UK 10. Can any brothers share with me, compared these 2 shoes, I understand LLYR is not that pointy but how about Meermin? Thanks in advance.

i am also keen to know how LLYR sizes are compared to the other name brands. from my understanding from the salesperson - correct me if im wrong - LLYR has the same last all their shoes.

personally, they fit fine but if they could come with a last slightly wider that would be perfect.

i checked out with my local cobbler today and they are charging $20/pair vibram half soles, and $40 for full soles. pretty reasonable i would say. just a heads-up.

That depends on the last the double monks are going to be in. Meermin sizing is going to be tough to determine unless someone here is willing to let you try on their pair. Size like yours may be difficult to find.

You can try on Carmina for a gauge. Their Simpson last is similar to the Meermin New Rey last.

Y not just go try them out? Carmina has a store here at Capitol Building.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Perhaps I should heed your advice heading down to Capitol; but then very "pai se" to try at Carmina...
By the way does Meermin have "New Rey Last"?

The New Rey last is a last from Meermin. I'm not sure what you mean by that. I'm saying that the Simpson last from Carmina is similar so you can use that as a gauge for other lasts from meermin. I generally would wear the same size for most lasts from Meermin.

Hi, sorry to have misunderstood the word "last". It is actually the shape of the shoe. I got it and thank you.
