EEA's Kovan or LLYR's Watons oxford?
cant decide between the two.
The watson has a more squarish toe, right? Makes it look shorter compared to the Kovan.

Has anyone heard or seen about this product called 'Shoe Goo' in Singapore? It's basically an adhesive that you apply onto the worn off portions of your heel and it solidifies and covers up the worn off portion, extending the life of your shoe. Been trying to find it locally, but no luck

I bought from selffix or is it homefix. Can't recall

Does anyone have any experience with the loake duke last (for Rothschild)? would that be more comparable to EEA / LLYR? they don't stock this in Robinson's dept store.

I've tried the capital last on the Strands at Robinson's and I can't get a good fit in either a 6.5 or a 7. I fit a 7 on EEA and a 40 on LLYR perfectly, so I assume its due to the wider last on the capital as compared to EEA and LLYR.

Carmina sizing question.

I've got a pair of uetam loafers in size 9. With socks on, it's a snug fit width wise but there is heel slippage.

Interested in getting a pair of chukka or jumper boots. Anybody has experience with oscar and rain last (and uetam of course) who can advise if i should size down by half? Can't get that question answered at the store @ capitol as 8.5 in either last is oos.

If you are going with the Oscar last I wouldn't advise you to size down. It has a ridiculously low instep.
The rain last is definitely wider so size 8.5 sounds possible, though do not take my word for it. If you wish, I can let you try on my shoes in rain 8.5, you know where I stay.
As a reference
I take uetam loafers and rain in 8.5
Rain suedes and derbies I can actually go down to 8.
Oscar in 8.5 causes me a f**k lot of pain so 9 would be better, though I imagine there would be an issue with heel slip.
That being said, for chukkas and boots I normally err on the larger size since a bit of heel slip in boots doesn't really bother me. An overly tight pair of boots however... Are an absolute bitch to wear.

Wow, thanks thudermarch but I am going to have to take a rain-check (eurgh) on that as I might be out of the country for awhile. Hopefully i can resist pulling the trigger till i'm back and have the oppurtunity to take up your offer :p

And thanks for the advice too. That matches my only experience with boots (army ones!). :)

I think for retailers selling into the US only (but includes shipping, US customs and free shipping returns).
