Upper glued to the sole? Could you take some pictures to illustrate this?

My earnest and collective sole gone in about 4 months of weekday usage. Rotation is a must.

Anyone tried Msia outlet TOMAZ? They got a wide range but im unsure bt quality.

My steptronic also crocodiled in half a year, my obermain 3 months sole become botak.

ernest and collective is just an e-commerce equivalent of Aldo. Their shoes are cemented. If you wanna extend your sole lifespan, get it vibramed or dainited. rotation is not a must

My friends and I own a few pair of CNES shoes, this is the first that I've heard of glue coming apart.

Could you elaborate more or maybe attach a picture?

Rotation is recommended, but not a must. Also depends on what do you mean by sole gone.

If you mean the shoe crocodile-ing, its quite a norm for cemented shoes

If you're talking about the sole being shaved off by friction, ask yourself if you've been wearing them everyday for long hours with extensive walking. Your weight and size plays a part as well, so were you doing very heavy lifting while wearing the shoes? And different people have different walking styles where some people place more pressure on the ball of the foot, some at the heel etc.

So really varies. I had a pair of E&C shoes that lasted me about 8-9 months of constant abuse until it finally crocodiled. But then again I'm working in an office where I don't spend alot of time walking around

Hey guys, I am UK11.5EE. Tried jalan sriwijaya's Captoe oxfords in store but the last was too slim-fitting for me and the midfoot looked very chunky. Any recommendations for captoe oxfords for people like me? Have been looking at Allen Edmonds' Park Avenue but have no idea where to try them in SG.

For midsole that is chunky, it could be cause of flatfoot or a fleshier foot. If its the former, you could try getting an insole with an arch, but can be expensive as you'll probably have to hunt for such an insole

For fleshier foot, I don't know of any solutions

Has anybody tried CNES new bologna line? Apparently the shoes are more comfortable, would love to hear from someone who gave them a go

hmm i don’t have time to set up the pictures uploading. basically the stitches are in place on the sole, but there’s glue holding the sole side to the uppers, right? this always comes off.

the shoes you own are the GY ones?

I own both GY and Blake, no issues with the shoes so far!
