55 is at 55 boat quay. :s22:

i dont want to ship as i need the cream immediately! and add in the shipping and the price would be about the same:s12:

Your question was very vague in the first place.
Try Mal Maison at Knightsbridge, they used to stock Saphir products, not sure if they still carry it now.

Just a quick heads up -- This Thursday (29th August), Tangs orchard is having a 20% off all regular merchandises, on top of the usual 12% members' rebate. So if your keen on LLYR shoes you can drop by to have a look. Tangs members, check your emails!

The prices of the creams available locally are more or less the same price. Only gets cheaper if you buy in bulk or share shipping with a couple friends.

Is Obenauf Oil Polish appropriate for all colors of leather shoes?

It's neutral colour. I use it to waterproof my Redwing Gentleman Travelers that I use as snow boots. It's typically been used on work wear (that is shoes meant for rough use).

Decided to go to Bishan J8 to get the rubber sole. Went for the one in the middle (Topy @ $28). The quality of the work is great, looks very decent. Got a free shoe shine too :)

did the cobbler mention the cost of re-soling?

All the shoes $100. I went there today. I think only left with a few boxes only. But saw sizes between 39-42.

at $100, it may be the older (2nd) collection of Ed Et Al shoes, which are using different lasts.

If anybody is interested in having their shoes resoled. I'd highly recommend B Nelson.

Used to use them, and the shoes literally come back new. That picture below is no photoshop trickery. It even looks like my shoes. I sent them a beat up pair of Alden Norwegians in black, and it came back like in the second picture.

Wow, looking good... How much did it cost in all, including shipping?

Are there places that use outsoles made of shell? Just a thought... :s13:

This is probably gonna sound juvenile, but are there any "reasonably-priced" croc/alligator blake-stitched shoes in sg?

He mentioned he can do leather resoling as well. But instead of replacing the entire sole, he will cut off about half of the sole and stitch in a new one. This is cos he said usually the part of the sole closest to the heel doesn't touch the ground, so no need to replace that.

Haha, not sure how it will look after it's done.
