match tuxedo - you need black oxfords.. but if your feet is wide, bluchers may be more appropriate.

office wear - u tried clarkes?

Currently what dress shoes do u wear or is this going to be the 1st time u getting dress shoes?

i used to live in australia so my dress shoes are from Windsor Smith. Cheap and stylish i would say. Ive seen clarks and rockport but they are ugly. Haha. sorry for my bluntness. Ive been scouring around takashimaya and tangs without finding anything appropriate.

I would think that Marks and Spencer stocks the very large sizes. I am just assuming that their footwear quality is on par with their apparel though.

Otherwise, you may want to try browsing the stores at IMM. Maybe the bunch of outlet stores there can offer you a different and cheaper selection of shoes (including the 'ugly' Clarkes and Rockport).

Anyone know if there are shops that sell anti-slip spray for leather shoe soles? Mine is quite well worn, but not planning to resole yet.

Did your shoes have a width fit and what fit do u take? If aesthetics of the shoes are important and fit is a bitch with most OTR shoes for u, then i would highly recommend going for custom made. The 2 options avail in SG that i am aware of are ed et al and diamond walker. Will set u back anywhere from $500 upwards to the thousands, but consider it an investment and getting your money's worth compared to the guy who custom when he can easily fit OTR shoes.

I think their nearest store is in HK.

And they cost a bomb S$1,000++ upwards

Good choice!

Their whole cut design is extremely stylish. I have the black oxford.

Am looking for a brown loafer but still can't find one that I like. Closest so far is Santoni.

Hi guys, i have a problem with finding a suitable shoe.

The problem i have is for me, i need US size 12. And i have a very wide foot(fat man has fat feet). I tried going through taka and the size 12 shoes available are very limited and all have a narrow sharp toe which my wide feet will hurt. Any one have this problem too? If so, where did you get your shoes? My budget i would say is around $300 for a pair. Looking for office wear and another pair that can match a tuxedo.

No need to stress. $549 @https://www.facebook.com/Diamond.Walker.SEOUL Custom made to fit your large wide foot. You just need to wait for 6 weeks. :s13:
