It's essentially a loake on the 026 last made to about 1880 range standards. Wont go wrong type of oxfords (some say boring, not me tho) i guess :)

Thanks alot. Actually, where can I learn about all these numerical last and range thingy? :o

Usually i just google the last number and the shoe manufacturer name pops up.

Bear in mind herring does not produce any shoes of their own. They outsource to several english brands n spain/portuga.

Most comprehensive last pic of loake I come across. For range you may go to pediwear.co.uk or loake.co.uk to see.

Thanks. All shoes follow same guide? Or let's say if I'm getting other brands, does the numeric last still applies?

the numeric is actually the last name for loake shoe. Just like capital/Duke and 024/026 last. Not applicable for other shoe brand.

Another example is edward green last, their last also goes by numbering system.

Edward Green 202
Edward Green 82
Edward Green 888
Edward Green 184
Edward Green 606
