I have a pair of Alden boots but need to get them resoled. The leather soles are coming apart.

You might want to check with Edwin of Ed et Al. He have the necessary skill and equipment to refurbish the entire sole.

In my second point, what I was referring to were Ed Et Al's RTW shoes, not MTO. Let me reiterate. Carmina's RTW shoes' quality and QC are more desirable & eminent as compared to Ed Et Al's RTW shoe range without a doubt, despite the latter's surge in collection set.

On another hand, Ed Et Al's MTO is better than their own(Ed Et Al) RTW range as you get to choose your specifications, state your preferences and MAYBE those are constructed in-house locally. Thus, having a much better QC. I was informed that Ed himself does the patina on the MTO shoes. Nice flalr, I would say.

The SA told me they use the standard shoe sizes available in the market, but we get to choose the design, leather and colour for MTO shoes. I thought when you MTO something, it is customized to your fit?

customised fit is the realm of personal lasts.

MTO merely means you can choose options (leathers, colours, tweaks), built on standard lasts.
