Thanks all for the expressed interest,

I have already settled the factory on their end, opening a hwz thread will only take a minute. What is left will be the pure logistical side of this.

I would say if all goes as planned. June will be a good opening date. Meanwhile you guys can prepare your budget :s13: ..

On a side note any one with logistics experience could pm me with your handphone number? I would like to seek advice so as to bring costs down, alongside reasonable freight times...

Thanks in advance!

Do take note on the gst that might be incurred on your end, and I bet the local ADs, might not be too pleased.

any recommendation for a pair of shoe range of 100-200 prefer to be able to try instead of ordering online

my pair of rad russelis is breaking and decided to buy a new pair

reading through it seems like aldo/pedro are to be avoided.

I'm one of the above-mentioned first-timers that might be interested. Please keep us posted. Good luck.

Btw just to share, 65daigou now having free agent fee until 30th April. So you can just paste the Taobao url in the "buy for me section" and they will settle everything for you to the warehouse, consolidate and wait for you to order them to ship. Site's in English, payment can use eNets or local POSB/DBS ibanking xfer. Alternatively there's 4PX but free agent fee atm, saves alot of hassle.

Each tree will be about 0.7kg. $13 with about shipping should come up to $16-$18 ea, even much cheaper if you ship bulk by sea (and can wait).

Bought some big Horsehair brushes also. Only $1.80 :s22:

Pls do a taobao spree! Would love to order some stuff. On that note, daigou is offering promotions but the exchange rate and additional miscellaneous (esp since shoes are heavy, shipping fee is a pain). Thanks :s12:

Great information, likehotbutter, thanks!

d3n, I'll take 3 cedar shoe trees (41 Gold)
If you could get 5 horsehair brushes I'd appreciate it too! Thanks.
(Can't post the link but it's 7 RMB each, search for 鞋刷 turns it up.

Anybody heard of this brand? I'm not sure where are the shoes made in but I think these are Yanko shoes.

Yes, I had brought the attention of Yanko earlier back. It's also made in Spain.

I haven't bought one to witness for myself, but personally from the gathering of Sytleforum, I can assume it's somewhere between Meermin and Carmina, considering the price-quality ratio.

To : d3n (can't even quote the link)

Yep! That's the one I found. Unless likehotbutter meant something else, and/or that looks unsuitable for some reason that I don't know of. Thank you very much!
