Hi All,

I got a Brooks Brothers Penny Loafer in US 9 EEE but it is quite a bit big for me so I'm wondering if anyone would be interested to buy it. Brooks Brothers Peny Loafer is made for them by Allen Edmonds after the Presidio model; the only difference is in the sole: Allen Edmonds Presidio has a full rubber sole while the Brooks Brothers Penny Loafer has a combination (half leather half rubber) sole.

It is a New-In-Box Factory Seconds (meaning that it did not pass QC 100%). I have yet to find an issue that cannot be polished off (I will upload pictures after I polish them).

It should fit a US 9.5 or UK 9 quite nicely. Looking to sell it at $200 but open to offers. I can use an insole to fit use it but I think the shoe is best when it fits nicely. Do PM me if any of you are interested :)

Why your feet so big? One size down I hoot liao. May I ask where did you buy this pair from. From my understanding the lousy BB counter in Taka and the lousy local distributor don't carry shoes. The next nearest BB is the Johor outlets and I hear is nothing to buy there.

I actually thought I had rather short feet; most of my friends are US 9.5 or larger.

That said, I have wide feet but rather short toes so I usually have to explore US 8.5 E to US 9 EEE (and the E's in between) to see which fit me best. Unfortunately for this "experiment" it is a slight miss for me. I will be limiting my future purchases to US 8.5 EEE and US 9 E to save me some disappointment :D

I got them from the US. BB here is quite expensive despite most of the clothes being made just across the boarder.

B1 Isetan Shinjiku. In there, you will find brands like CJ, Meermin, etc. In a different room, you will find Santoni, EG, JL and even Lattanzi; try all you want. If you are bored with shoes, there are 7 more floors of mens-only wears :D. Afterwhich, you can hunt down the bespoke makers around Tokyo.

And if one place isn't enough, you could give the Singaporean crew a hand by scouting out all these...

well, i would be careful about those japanese shoemakers. judge quality by urself, that magazine has an infamously pro-japanese slant. otsuka is the only one mentioned I know that has a long tradition.

But nowadays going extinct. This brand got bought over buy another Italian company and relegated into making Children shoes. Sad.

What is NOS?

No self respecting or ambitious shoemaker will name their shoe range like that. No surprise with the outcome. Just my 'caustic' 2 cents. :p

Geoxx is one of the better brands I have purchased. Definitely breathable. The welt began to split more than a year of 4 days a week of frequent wear and so rain water can seep in.
