Ed et al shoes are excellent even if the RTW collection is made in vietnam.I've two pairs of RTW and one pair of custom. Love them to bits.

I disagree with the fact that they age poorly. I've had mine for over 3 months and they look good so far. Of course i polish them from time to time with the saphir cream.

I'm going to do another custom with edwin. Seriously at that price point-for a custom made in Singapore, i really can't complain when i look at the greats from corthay, berluti or imai.

How much for their RTW shoes, and bespoke shoes respectively?

Here you go, a pic of one of my pairs- taken this morning- the merlion ii double monks. RTW. So far so good on the leather aging.

Everyone is rather nice here. To me, the creasing looks very wrong. 2 layers of diagonal creases - my alarm bells are ringing.

It seems grossly over-sized or the last does not fit your feet at all.

Btw, does Ed Et Al name their lasts? If so, what is this one made on?

today finally can go town after a gruesome week in the overseas office, molested a few pair of Edward Green at the store. Really very well made.

Is there any nice brand of leather shoe to purchase in New York, USA?

Allen Edmonds or Alden are American brand and made in USA.

Cole haan and Johnson Murphy are American brand but made overseas. Johnson Murphy has Italian made ones buy those if u can them at great deal.

Johnson Murphy outlet always has the buy 3 get 1 free deal. Prices starts ~usd$50 to ~usd$90 for non Italian ones.

Head down to Woodbury to find deals. If I want Alden or AE only regular shops.

Firstly, it should crease and not crumple. That leather vamp looked like crushed paper. Secondly, the crease should be horizontal, unless you have deformed feet and you flex your feet diagonally. The number of creases really depends on how stiffened the toe cap is, and how elongated the last is.

I apologise for no pics. Inconvenient now. I guess Google is your best friend.

these uk brands cheaper in new york?

Leffot carries a number of uk brands
Category Archives: Saint Crispin

buy 1 EG/SA can buy maybe 4 pairs of AE!.

AE is truly cheap for durable shoes. Gotta get a style you like though. Most of them look like old man shoes, but still better than half the local stuff. But I hate the wide heel.

AE is definitely cheaper there too.

What is SA? Gotta love st crispin!
