For distressed leather, do I need get neutral color to polish after using Saphir Renovateur?

What I do is, before I wear the new shoes, I will spray the water proof on the distressed leather shoes. Allow it to dry and spray on the second coat. That should do the job and it had been 3 months and I am yet to spray any more coat on it. To be honest, water proof is more like protecting the shoes for splashes and not soak. Remember, leather shoes vs water. The water will win. If in a situation, that you are caught in a heavy rain in Singapore. Allow the shoes to dry naturally in proper vent area. The only trouble in Singapore, is the stupid humidity and it will cause leather shoes to mound.

Thanks for the advice. Maybe if my shoe are soaked in rain, I will air dry a night then put in my camera dry cabinet. That will remove more moistute, but my camera might smell, Lol

Ordered from them once, did a try on the Loakes shoes at Robinsons and also emailed them to double confirm. Their response was fast and good. Now I'm very comfortable with my pair of Herrings! Feel like ordering another pair of shoes, anyone?

I also went Robinson to try Loake sizing and used the same size for my Herrings. The pair I bought is on sale now at £50 lesser
