The price is a disappointment. $630 for their dress shoes and $300 for the loafers. $750 for the patina.

They don't have an option of repairing your shoes locally now if you require re-welting.

Yeah... was there on sat.... was surprised at the price of the shoes, especially for the patina. Doubt I will be making a purchase there anytime soon. I do like that they offer matching belts which is can be a pain if you're getting colours other than brown and black.

Have never used those from Saphir because they are so expensive in SG. I think whatever I used to use worked for me. I'm just switching since $15 felt like low risk to me.

Placed an order for (for the black friday sale via Amazon on Sat) -
1. 4 woodlore shoe trees (M size) & 1 shoe care valet box.
2. 1 kellys Heroes/ Where Eagles dare blu-ray (which are my clint eastwood's all time fav movies).

Best part - i received the woodlore items this afternoon (which I think is bloody fast). The blurays are slated to arrive mid month

Total damage - about $180 sing.

It's one UK size smaller than your US size. Best is if you go to places like Robinsons at Orchard, and try on their shoes by Loake. Note your UK size. It should (ROUGHLY) correspond to your Meermin size

On another note, the Robinsons at Orchard (at the site of the old Heeren) reminds me of Selfridges, London. They have a great many new labels etc. A motley collection of knick knacks.
