If you aren't careful with kiwi brushes you may end up scratching your polish, or even the shoe itself in some cases. Horse-hair brushes have much softer bristles - very easy to buff shoes with them.

I second the recommendation for hush puppies horsehair brush. I use it most of the time for my shoes. Whether it is genuine horsehair, I can't tell. But it is definitely as soft as my other one.

My other brush is from Collonial, bought at the Raffles City cobbler. It is more reputable, and the brush is a lot bigger, softer and with more evenly distributed hairs. But it does not perform significantly better.

As to whether horsehair brushes are better than Kiwi brushes, the answer is a big YES. It is not so much that horsehair is wonderful, as it is that the Kiwi synthetic bristles are like needles.

Leather is really just skin. Try to use a Kiwi brush on your hand, then try a horsehair brush.

No experience with their loafers but the good thing is u can just go down n see n try for urself, assuming u r looking at RTW.

I've got a pair of the chocolate suede ones from the first collection, and a pair of brown calf from the latest collection.

What can I say? They're penny loafers that are Goodyear welted with a rubber sole. The newer model has a sleeker last and burnishing on the calf model.

They're well made and comfortable, take abuse well. I've brought them all over the world, wear them sockless and walk everywhere. No issues.

The rubber soles make them very practical in all weather and terrain.

Being penny loafers, they go with everything.

Worth the money.

U Put ur shoes under a sensor. A few.drops.of.paste comes.off....

Then move a step..u put ur shoes near brush like things n it will spin very quickly.

Seen in china hotels too. I suspect similar chemicals as those kiwi instant shine ie not good for the leather.. Best to avoid if ur shoes are for the long term..

I remember petia said kiwi wax too drying. Personally i use kiwi for black shoes n dun see issue if u condition ur shoes regularly
