Guys, I'm going to put up two Meermin loafers for sale, thought I'd check if there's any interest here first.
Snuff Suede String Loafers(UK6)

Dark Brown Calf(UK6.5)

I thought the Ron last would be safer for me as opposed to Carmina's Uetam, and I was dead wrong. Turns out I have to size down by a good one size at least to prevent heel slip. I'll let them go for $180 each, or 300 for both.

I feel you pal. Your brown suede is string or tassel loafers?
Is a shame. They're pretty nice shoes. We have very different foot size though
Greetings from The Modern Gentleman,
My humble and deepest apologies to my fellow modern gentlemen.
It seems that i have made an honest mistake about goodyear welting. My custom made shoes are not goodyear welted, but rather they are welted using a different technique from goodyear welting.
I do not want to bore you with the finer details but think of the construction as an "in between" of blake and goodyear welting.
For those who are interested in the finer details or any other questions, please feel free to PM me. I'll be more than happy to answer your questions to the best of my ability.
Once again, my apologies for my mistake.
Sincerely,
The Modern Gentleman.
Bore us. I would like to learn what is in between blake and goodyear welting because the research and information on this lost art is hardly available on the internet.

Snuff suede string loafers, and dark brown calf tassel(I typed "cassel", haha) loafers.
If you're a UK7 I think the dark brown calf might fit you; it's a UK6.5 but generally you need to size down for loafers. Anyway, if any of the shoe thread regulars want the shoes I'll knock the price down even more.![]()
How much will returning cost u? I wish i could help/benefit but unfortunately i need to be in my early teens to fit into your size.
They've both been worn exactly twice. I'll take pics later but I can't return them because there's already signs of use on the soles.
I am keen in the suede tassels. Ballgag, what's your edetal size again? I am worried it might run a little too small for me. I am a size 40![]()
