Anybody keen to share shipping on Herring shoes?
is it advisable to put rubber half sole on those leather sole for protection? Try to read from styleforum and some members there advise against it
Half Rubber soles trap heat and moisture. And in our humid weather, it will cause the leather sole to deteriorate faster. Just try to avoid walking in water and you should be fine without them.

I also prefer leather soles. Do you tap toe all your shoes?![]()
Awww... Wanted to pick up an item on impulse during their winter sale, its OOS now.
It could be difficult to fit 2 items under S$400.
I do my own "taps" by using Mcnett Freesole. It's liquid rubber that hardens to a glossy transparent finish. Works really well!
Sold at Outdoor@novena.

Will it affect the appearance of shoes?
Maybe just barely but oh well, I'm not sure if I want to drop another $200 on a pair of Barkers. So far the fit has been the most forgiving for my feet.
