Are leather soles supposed to be hard?

I tried one just now and it was awkward trying to walk in them
Kinda felt like wood, doesn't bend much.

Good leather soles should be hard (due to the thickness and tightness of the corium fibres), then after u wear they'll season and get pliable.

If your leather sole is pliable when brand new, u know some corners got cut lol

Initially thought it was wood coz it was very firm, only able to bend it slightly

The website states leather sole

Firstly, I am not a "pro". Haha.

Personally, for the soles, I would wear the new shoes a few times before sending it for topy/vibram. I would want the last to conform to my feet so it adheres better and provide maximum comfort. Similarly for the heels, I would wear those until the rubber shows some signs of deterioration (like exposing the shoe's inner surface) before sending those for topy/vibram. These are subjective based on individual's analysis and preferences, of course.

You can visit Kips and Kwik @ Junction 8, Bishan. Prices are reasonable. The gent is good-mannered and selfless in sharing tips.

How much does Kips & Kwik charge?

I engaged Master Fix at ION Orchard, owned by Edwin's ex-mentor. $50 for a pair.

$50 for sole and heel?
I recall Kips & Kwik charge $35 for sole, or is it $30 :s11:

IIRC, Kips & Kwik charges $25 for a pair of Vibram soles while $22 for heels. I went there last 2 weeks and I doubt pricings increased significantly though.

Note: There's no Topy, but only Vibram available at Kips & Kwik.

I started to wear my blue Et shoes today and it is very comfortable since day 1 as compare to DW.

DW took about 2 months to break-in, but this Et will probably takes less than a week.

Any pictures to share how they look on your feet?
