Unboxing a pair of Loakes ordered from Herring. Shoes received within a week of ordering, and contained complimentary goodies like a shoe horn and polish!

Wow looks awesome. I'm also looking to buy loake 1880 in e coming weeks. Not sure to order thru herring or pedi wear. Heard that 2nd purchase of loake for pedi wear comes with 15% discount. Can anyone verify this?

Loake if no discount, buy from Robinson shoes. Free shipping. Just need to wait longer.

Genuinely curious though, based on Urban's evolution where those brands would fit in, since the issue was raised.

Tramezza's should be around Carmina's level or slightly higher.

But the fiddleback models (more handwork) should be around EG, C&J.

But the lower lines like Studio stuff are mostly cemented, so place them accordingly as you will. There should also be a mid tier welted line.

No idea abt Bally or Tod stuff though

Nope, nowhere here in SG unless you happen to share a similar size to forummers here who are happy to loan you their meermins to try. :p

Sub SG$200 you may want to consider those that TUV posted last night. Aldo, Pedro, Beetlebug, Bata Ambassador. Buy a few pairs, rotate them and you should be fine for awhile. My Pedro slip-ons I bought 5 years ago still serve me well. BUT for your reference, I only wear them once a week if at all.
Hushpuppies good? Pedro n aldo dun have my shoe size though.

Just also made my first purchase from Herring shoes. Fast(order on Monday and shoes arrived on Wed). Only point is that GST + handling was charged for the 2 pair of shoes I bought.

Good to know! Although for fashion brands I would think the price point will be higher then if buying from a shoemaker brand?
