Rubber soles are usually available as a factory option. If you don't know how to wal- ahem, I mean, if you find leather soles slippery or expensive to maintain, go for dainite or another factory fitted option(tomir, wensum, etc).

The Japanese uncle at Yishun is not bad. But not worth to travel all the way north.

my first monk! from Meermin classic line... though can see some "flaws" on the shoe. but heck haha.
the color here looks slightly darker then in real life.
tried walking at home on ceramic tiles... seems very slippery as compared to my Loake L1.
guess i need to go for topy... dun want a nasty trip
btw, Meermin is charging USD75 for resole.

My Loakes and the case for why you should topy. Shoe has been worn for about a month, about 3 times a week, never consecutively and always with shoe trees in after each wear.
