Worth switching telco?

Hi I’ve Been with Singtel for 19 years

Was wondering if it’s worth it to switch to Starhub

1) I tried contacting customer service regarding change of mobile no. The chat agent said it’s beyond his expertise and ask me to dial 1688
2) I dialed 1688 - sorry we are facing huge call volume. Can’t speak to anyone available
3) I tried chatting online again to tell them that I can’t call the cso. They said please try again in 2 hours.

4) competitor mobile gives more data. I am at combo 3 and only getting 3gb and Starhub similar plan gives 15gb

5) it may be risky to switch as whole family on. Singtel

u can recontract on singtel combo 3 plan $68.9 have Unlimited calls, unlimited SMS/MMS (both is capped at 10,000) + can add on MobileShare up to 3 line $12.9 each line + 1GB data + can add on DATA X INFINITY Unlimited data @ $29.9

my M1 line have been using 22 year aft i port all the line to singtel saving me alot of cost + singtel network coverage better, M1 network coverage soso only, starhub network coverage very poor sometime data veryslow & sometime data not going

one main line is $68.9 (24 mth 20% discount = $55.15) + DATA X INFINITY Unlimited data $29.9 + caller ID $5.35
1st MobileShare line $12.9 + caller ID $5.35
2nd MobileShare line $12.9 + caller ID $5.35
3rd MobileShare line $6.45 50% + caller ID $5.35

3 mobileshare line sharing of data, talk time and SMS with main line Bundle

All together 4 mobile line is $138.7 every mth

Agree. M1 line getting worse and worse. I not sure about StarHub but I’m transferring to StarHub after my M1 fibre broadband contract ends.

Play game sometimes will lag, ask my guild if servers lag they say not lag

Effectively, 1 line is about $34+.

Quite expensive if you don't really use much data.

I don't play games.

So far my Starhub fibre is rock solid. Router is on 24/7.

Actually these days the Sim only plans give a lot of GB for $20ish.
This type of pattern not worth anymore

Stick with Singtel with the widest coverage. StarHub coverage and speed are not as good.

Sign up ST SIM-only plan to bring the cost down but with much higher data.

Yup singtel coverage is better. My experience based on a prepaid SH card + postpaid singtel

Its definitely worth it to go to a diff telco with more data. But that's provided that you're not intending to change phone or just pay for another new phone in full.

Why the f do people want to sign phone contract for just a 3GB a month plan


You can get a redone 3GB+ plan at only $8 a month.

But you still have to add caller ID and in case exceed minutes and sms pay extra

SingTel data infinity is def a good option

M1 offers the best SIM Only plan at just 75 (or 86.35 with unlimited weekend data and caller ID after the first 6 months) for 180GB of data, 11000min talktime and 1000SMS! Plus bonus 5GB if you flash your SAFRA Card. You might want to give it a shot.

Alternatively, you could try M1's 24mth plan with device. Quite competitive I would say, if you add the 20 or 50 dollar bundle add-on.
