Worthwhile to repair lens for EPL6?

Hi all,

Need some advice. My 14-42mm kit lens from my Olympus EPL6 is faulty. It is unable to focus or extend or retract properly? It is no longer under warranty.

Is it worthwhile repairing? Are there any more economical service shops rather than going back to Olympus? Anyone have knowledge of indicative cost?

There are experts that maybe able to do repair on it.

If the repair cost is more than 50%, maybe it would be better to get a new one.
