Retrenchments getting more rampant, govtech also cut, factories moving out, COL damn high. Even condo to HDB 15 months rules also removed. A lot bad news and citizens are afraid until miw need to give additional enhanced support payout.

Yet within a week, wind change, news keep report SG banks ath and people are huating. To me this sounds like a distraction to divert chao sinkie attentions and pacify everyone that is safe don't worry.

Would there be a day where finally sg will have capital tax? I mean if ah gong keep burn money eventually someone and somewhere need pay for it right? Plus tfr so low, you can import but there will come a time we need more people to contribute income to the economy? Or am I wrong? The rich can continue stay safe here and enjoy free capital gains?

Plenty of slack in the system to maintain housing value for the masses.

No need to worry

FT, PR are all being taxed :(
But when it comes to cash flow stability is more important which is why u can say bye bye to your cpf money :(
U will get it but more less adjusted to inflation and later :(

Capital gain tax and very hopefully inheritance tax might be introduce :(
But under MIW the chance is very low :(

The phenomenon u mention is very common just our state owned propaganda media doing their thing :(
Even weather temperature they also wanna lie….. thanks to high daft society’s blank cheque miw behavior is getting from bad to worse :(

They've already abolished estate duty on 15 February 2008. I don't think they are going to bring it back anytime soon.

In its place indirect taxes like GST is the second largest contributor behind corporate tax, with personal income tax in 3rd place.

NIRC contribution from Temasek, GIC etc is very close to corporate tax level of contribution.

From all these the government distribute back CDC vouchers. Unlike other countries where the poor have to subsist on food stamps.
