Could you elaborate on how you wet vacuum the fins
spray the fins with jackie foam. Let it settle for 30mins. use a wet vacumn to suck out all the residues out of the fins. you will find all the jelly coming out from the fins esp at the bottom area close to the water pan.

today finally decided to dismantle & clean my AC (last done more than a year ago?)
too long never clean, had to dig out the youtube for the dismantling steps :s13:

saw black spots around near the fan (not sure mold or dirt), wipe and clean.
basic toilet bidet spray and brush the blower, parts & filters. fins just brush and vacuum with nothing much coming out. didn't flush/vacuum the output pipe as the draining tray was dry when I dismantle it.

in short, simple cleaning

I more curious how long is the longest you can go without cleaning aircon? I know some people never clean before from day 1 they buy
for me is 10yrs... I don't use often, only for warm nights.
I DIY first clean recently only and not even that dirty...got some mold though
