Would you recommend a family of 2 elderly and 2yo kid, to the maid cafe or robot restaurant?

Robot restaurant, the seats very very tight space, you have to judge yourself. The show not bad.

I think not all the maid cafe are non family friendly. I know female friends who went. I've seen on tv one with guys masquerading as maids.

Maid cafe dunno Japanese and not willing to play along with the cutesy cutesy thing is just waste money, so NO.

Robot restaurant is LOUD and unlikely to be enjoyed by elderly, and some more you have toddler, so also NO.

just go.. if don't like then ok.. but its good experience at least one.

It's a good experience and I suggest you order some drinks or cake menu.
