anybody encountered this? when you search something, its not searching google.com.sg? you go to https://www.google.com and it direct you to google indonesia or google australia? although i can choose to set the default to google.com, but i prefer to set as google.com.sg. help. :(

no problem on my opera browser though. it can recognise my country as singapore, and my search results are in google.com.sg.

i have a macbook pro 15 inch and 13 inch. both have the same result. on m1 1gbps. :o

they redirect you based on your IP address, maybe M1 assigned you to a recycled IP that previously used by indonesia?

You could also help Google by reporting the affected IP here:

https://support.google.com/websearch/answer/873?hl=en said:
Change the Google site you’re sent to

If you're ending up at the wrong Google site, we might be detecting your IP address incorrectly. For example, this could be happening to you if you’re in Australia (www.google.com.au) but you’re being sent to the Google domain for the United Kingdom (www.google.co.uk).

Please report the problem so that we can update your IP address. We can usually fix the problem pretty quickly, but it could take more than a month.

Edit: have you also tried using Safari in incognito mode or another browser other than Chrome on your MacBook? Might be an add-on affecting your results...
