Bought Corsair 350D.
However MSI B85M-G43 was out of stock , and I saw the Red/black Theme of the Gaming version.
In the end then realize MSI B85-G43 Gaming Mama's board was bigger size #11 , regular ATX.
Don't intend to bring back the casing as it is too heavy, hope to exchange the mainboard for a Micro-ATX one. Any Reccomendations?

1) Next time open your eyes, B85 = ATX, B85M = mATX :s22:

2) what do you mean exchange? bring back shop? not sure if many shops would happily exchange an opened board for another new one, unless of course you haven't opened that G43

Bring back the board and exchange for something equivalent or top up for higher purchase.

Time to recommend gigabyte board

Nah I wont. Cause the giga b85m does not include even a single pcie x1 slot. People one internal wifi or sound card also cannot put in.

Unless they want to use old pci wifi and old pci sound card loh.

but these days the onboard sound they give is quite good. if u need dedicated sound card pcie u can place into the pcie 4x slot. anyway he is using matx thete is no need for that kind of expansion.

There's an asus b85m-g same as msi... but pricing wise msi cheaper.

I would prefer Gigabyte b85m-d3h, it has heatsinks!!!

The onboard sounds was never good. IF TS do use audiophile grade analogue speakers then yes TS would need a sound card. To pair it with a good speakers. And also a good Headphones.

2nd thing is the WiFi card. Most of it is moving on to PCIe slots or USB.

But nevertheless i wouldnt wanna comment further. You have your point i have mine.

And still value for money i would go for MSI B85M G43. Given the fact that it can offers more connectivity such as an additional Display Port and lastly the Optical Port for sound.

At the end of the day it is very much depending on a user end on what they need. :)

i was tempted to buy.. so cheap!!!!

cheap is one thing, good is another :s13:
if you adjust the price to performance in terms of local pricing, this wins hands down

yeah i got it, funny thing is that the on board dac sounds almost the same as my external dac. to be frank i cant really tell the difference
