Dear all,

Have anyone of you ever encounter receiving a letter from credit card bank and the name on the letter is not the same with your name?

Seems like there is some hiccup with the bank system and generate the wrong name with wrong address.

I also met a similar kok up before.

Once, some unknown person somehow managed to ask one bank to change MY phone number. Could be the bank admin updated the wrong record :s8:

I got a letter to inform me of the change confirmation. I called the bank up to inform them of what I thought is a major security breach (my Internet OTP goes to my mobile number). The CSO just can't seem to understand that I didn't request for the change after I tried to explain for a long time. When they finally got it, they just shrugged it off.

Is there any place for us to report this matter?
I'm afraid with this kind of things after I read about the printing problem for SC bank few months back.

I tried to report this matter to the bank, but looks like the bank ignore me.

SC Bank..
I encounter once.
I receive handphone OTP which I didn't access online banking at that time.
I called the CSO, ask why am I receiving OTP which I am not access my online banking.

Explain until vomit blood then she understand what I am trying to say.

Then I ask her to reset my online account

Guess what she said.
you want to reset?

seem like they don't bother about security breaking.

Another bank .. Rxxx but not the local bank. I think it was merge to another bank, cant recall the bank name.

I think they outsource their marketing, that marketing officer called and tried to ask me to sign up their credit card.
Then offer to help me to sign up.. he can help me to print out my CPF statement. I just need to give him my singpass.
I reject.
When I wrote to that bank and question them this.
No news no sound.
two weeks later, follow up with an email.
That bank just ask that marketing company to call me and said

SORRY

.. The END..

I've got a card activation successful SMS with somebody else's full name before from SCB. Told them to investigate, one week later call me back say they don't have any record of them sending it to me, even after I sent them screenshot proof. :s22:

I reported the problem and have been waiting for almost 1 week without any news, at the end I have decided to close my account.
