Due to my father-in-law serious sickness, we have no choice but to cancel our trip to Japan.

Anyone interested to take over my air tickets for 3 pax to Tokyo?

Perhaps you can check with your travel insurance n see if you can claim.

SQ don't do name change, they will ask you to cancel and get refund on taxes.

But if you have medical report and Doctor letter ( stating the person is unfit for travel ), you can email SQ and they may give full refund for him ( or whole party ) on a case-by-case basis.

Email them @ KF_contact@singaporeair.com.sg , with the relevant documents.

Thanks for all reply. Already checked with SQ and they had offered me a refund.
