X34 or PG348Q

Any pros can recommend which monitor to get ?

Of course i will be getting a gtx1080 to be able to run with either of these 2 monitors. Any help would be appreciated, thanks !

I will suggest getting Asus for the premium feel
I am using Asus lowest end 144hz monitor, the image quality is really not bad for a TN panel
Go for Asus if you can afford!

Thanks for the replys so far, to me its not about the price. I want to get the best quality i can.

So far comments are leaned towards the Acer. If nothing changes I will go with the suggestions and get the X34.

If you can afford x34 sure you can go for Asus
But for? Either the look or the brand
If I were you I will get the x34p which is coming out soon

Premium look? This is very subjective. Some find acer has better looking while some prefer asus.

The panels are exactly the same, therefore the video quality will be exactly the same (maybe factory default settings might be slightly difference but you can change those yourself if you want). I personally like the PG348Q monitor design a little bit more but its totally not worth it for the massive difference in price, and more importantly, the QC and warranty support. Acer beats the Asus hands down. If the acer cost the same as the asus, I would still buy the X34...so the fact that the acer is many hundreds of dollars less in price is an even bigger bonus. Buy the acer

All your comments have convinced me, will be getting it as sson as i can decide the other parts to complete my whole new rig. The price is so far is estimated to be around 5k

Can't wait that long for it. Will rather get the X34 now. Not much improvements for me to want to warrant the wait.
