My needs - movies, light gaming, mostly want the 21:9 wide screen. The 100hz and gsync is a bonus. Any other monitors I should consider around this price point?

worth, do hoot. Not everyone can hoot at that price. 999 is considered a steal.

I will advise to get x34p though.

x34a 999 is already a steal, people pay $1.6k for asus with similar spec.
