Have Mi 12 Pro China Rom. Anyone having issues sending videos on Whatsapp? It's super lag, beyond the normal compression.

No need to chase mobile tech all the time. Xiaomi chut too much phones until ppl are spoilt with choice

Just use CN rom
It fully supports Google as well
And if you flash china Mi12 to global rom, you will need to unlock bootloader --> cannot use google pay

It overheats easily. You won't get to enjoy the marketed speed and battery life if you play a lot of intensive games on it. Let's say just avoid SD 8 Gen 1 chip phones.

The new SD chips made by TSMC will be rolled out soon. Dimensity chips are also more efficient.

iOS is way faster.


So, it is operating system issue, not phone issue

I transitioned over from Poco X3 NFC (International Rom) and I had no issues sending whatsapp files there though.

The workaround seems to be to manually compress the video files in the gallery before sending on whatsapp.

Somehow the auto-compression doesn't work well.

I ended up going for realme gt2 pro.. It's fantastic no regret.

Only thing I still miss is MI 12 and s22 slim width

the warranty is auto registered with proof of purchase. that seller actually not local set but still able to rma at funan.
