Telco set for Samsung and xiaomi also need receipt one.. else they just follow the manufacturing date.. which will severely shortchange ur warranty coverage..

Regardless, so long it's telco sets that you are buying from a reseller shop, you wouldn't have the warranty starting on your purchase date from the reseller. The warranty will start earlier, depending on how long this telco sets been with the reseller. Anyway, I think at most will be a 2 months difference since those reseller also don't want to keep the telco sets for long time.

Thanks for the info to the both of you. For the peace of mind, I'll skip this purchase and get phones directly from the manufacturer or authorized retailer. These telco set resellers seems more like grey market purchases which leaves a lot to guessing and assumptions e.g what is the warranty remaining, has the set been re-sealed, is the set guaranteed to be local set etc.

$12xx the last i've checked, can't remember exactly the price. The Mi 15 Ultra seems to be sold out everywhere though. I may end up buying the oppo find x9 pro instead.

The Vivo X300 Pro specs does seem to beat the Oppo Find X9 Pro, especially the larger camera sensor size. May I check what's the lowest price you've seen for the X300 Pro from an authorized vivo singapore retailer?

Recently someone bought from Vivo Shopee shop at 124x. If you can wait, wait for the X300 ultra to release in May. The pro price should drop.
