I really thought the gifts are until tomorrow so I quickly purchased 15U. I am disappointed that it's not shipped out yet.

The $50 off is nothing when red white mobile can sell 15 512GB for 998 where website sells for 1149 after discount.

I hope I can receive the device on 8 March else I believe telco starhub set will be available at much cheaper price with all freebies included on the launch day.

The only model on display was the silver chrome version. If I didn't know the specifications, I would think that I am holding a mid range phone

Ordered 03 March for the phone but status on mi.com show DC to Ship.
Ordered 05 March for a hypercharge power bank but status today say Shipped.

both items on their website show delivery in 1-3 days.

my powerbank also arrive liao hahahaha

According to some forum, apparently those who preorder in Malaysia have already received their 15U/15 since yesterday. Meanwhile, here in Singapore none of us have their order shipped out and no ETA provided. What is Xiaomi Singapore doing? This is not Apple-like experience which William Lu aim to achieve that he mentioned in the launch

Placed order on mi.com. Very screw up. First order doesn't show freebie so I cancelled the order. Second order had the freebies listed.

Called Xiaomi support before I cancelled the 1st order, and they were very wishy-washy. Told me to wait until I received the phone, and if there's no freebie, call them again to escalate for them to allow me to buy the freebie for $1. What the heck is this??

This sounds like taobao store sop. Won prize in the taobao store, was given the rights to place order for the prize at 0.01 rmb.

Yeah I second this. Cancelled my pre-order after fiddling with the demo set. Camera seems good but it can't be just about that. Also have reservations about Hyper OS. Sticking to my S23 Ultra for now.

I now totally skip RWM liao. I went to buy their oppo find X8, they tell me black with free gifts is S$1199 and the rest no free gifts are S$988. I walk out.

The silver black back panel is eco leather, other colours are glass fiber composite. Both aka plastic.

Other china brands high end phones also using glass fiber composite to reduce weight and thickness. The back panel material makes no difference to the handling feel when most people cover phone with plastic casing.

So far so good? Anything to note in particular with settings? This is going to be my 1st Xiaomi phone.

very good, useful for me in my work. use it for traveling to take pretty shot last time. the convenience of the kit is truly impressive. now waiting for the 15 ultra to come just nice end of march I going to Melbourne can test out.
