If I am going China in march should I get the version in China? Can I use it in SG and what will be the other differences?

u get satellite calling but no android auto are my guesses.

Got super xiaoai with built in deepseek r1, auto call recording.

Needs to be able to read chinese as a tiny portion of the system apps, setting not fully translated into english.

Recommend to do own homework. Need to sideload Google Play. Some Android features like Android Auto do not work

You may encounter bugs like certain local apps not working

If you are not comfortable with tweaking settings and handling workarounds, suggest to buy local set, it is more expensive, but comes with warranty and no restrictions

The HP9 elongated periscope housing likely necessitated the slightly oddish placement of the sensors around the circular encasement.

Am kinda lazy to go MWC to play with it..but Red and White said for SG it is gonna be Telco and XM exclusive launch. So impossible to get it prelaunch via retail. Totally bummed.

That's why they bait consumers with slightly lowered pricing and tons of freebies.

If you are looking to use the same phone for minimum 2 years, take ur time to get after launch.

If you change phones every 1 year then don't think so much just buy and enjoy before the next better phone comes.

Bought one this morning 3am, but have to cancelled order as after many confirmation with Xiaomi China support team and local import phones sellers like Vision and some others, due to
China authority banned Google, so Google services apps and their key components are not allow to be integrated in or as system apps, so apps like Android Auto will not work, messaging apps will get delay no pop up issues.

Unless you are someone don't drive and doesn't bother your phone cannot connect to car infortainment system, don't mind about missing response to new messages as they were delay or pop up notification didn't show, then you can go for 15 Ultra China version.

Or maybe you can root the phone and willing to wait and constantly trying out more bug-less newer custom rom.

For me, I am way passed the time I spent countless of sleepless nights, skip valuable family time, just to toying with problem phones trying out new custom roms... The End!

1) China roms usually have very aggressive battery management, you need to turn off individual if not you might not get push notifications until you open the app and it floods in.
2) Things like Pixel watch is not compatible, other wearOS require you to down load both International and CN version of the wearOS app to work.
3) Android auto may or may not work or partially depending on the brand of the phone

No issue being beta tester.. was the first to own the XM USTs whenever they r released. Still using the 3rd gen UST..key is extract full value out...and exit if it shitty product. Like my Realme GT 2 Pro.

Also depends on priority of features. To each their own. XM13U is still the most $$$ phone I ever had but I think I really maximise use of the features. Great conversation topic at dinners and meetings when I place the phone on the table tho.

Some folks change iphone like underwear and some for 3-4 yrs won't change till it breaks or apple slows it down.
