No, the Xiaomi 16 Pro Max and an “Ultra” model are not the same—and that’s because Xiaomi hasn’t officially released a 16 Ultra yet. GSMArena report that Xiaomi is working on a 16 Ultra, expected to launch about a year after the 16 Pro, likely in 2026

Digital chat station recent post on 22 july said xiaomi is not using this sensor. Should be omnivision ov50x or maybe another customised model from smartsens.

Interesting that Chinese imaging companies ( including Omnivision ) use an unusual "decibel" scale to describe dynamic range instead of usual "stops".

110db is about 18 stops of light , which is absolutely incredible if true, only real world examples will tell.

Hopefully a large ultrawide sensor + variable apertures for the larger sensors.
