No.... local official Xiaomi store don’t carry gaming phone. From what I understand, global rom support also quite limited. Most of them are China rom.

Only local supported gaming phones are the Asus ROG and Razer phone.

You can also consider the latest Red Magic 5G. This one got NFC and better spec.

the redmagic 5g has the fastest display at 144hz, but it's the 7.1 inch screen that attracts me.

currently using Huawei mate 20x with a 7.2 inch screen.

thanks for bringing up the NFC, didn't know it does not have 1. probably due to the metallic back.

gotta give it some more consideration.

another con for the phone is that one need to remove the front LED screen in order to access to the 2 batteries.

I realised that this Blackshark series is not widely supported by the communities.

XDA and miforum has practically no sub forum on it.

Even the designated Blackshark forum has not much discussion going on.

Guess it's best to stay away from the phone.

Seriously even with the 5000mah, battery life isn't fantastic according to the reviews. The in built triggers look cool but only for 1 or 2 games... PUBB / CODM.

Yeah ROG 2 has 6000mah. Anw, also worried whether it gets updated regularly lol!

I got the BS3P 12/256G CN version. Battery life is better than M20x. Every apps working, including google apps and map, except Netflix must side load. Didn't try banking apps yet. Now wanted to buy another BS3 (non pro) as a main phone and it seems must order from the official global BS site since most sellers selling hacked CN versions. Anyone ordered from the global site previously?

BTW as looking at ROG2 but the complaints on forum is so high...

Ex mi max 3 user. Just jump over to Asus ROG Phone 2. Before I buy this Asus ROG phone 2 I also thinking to get black shark 3. In the end choose Asus. Asus ROG phone 2 price drop.

All xiaomi phone required unlock Bootloader to flash rom.
