Actually, I bought one. And TVapp is not able to run. Also, not all channels are working.

how much are they selling it for at the show? does it come with pre installed apps?

no such thing as miboxpro.

local xiaomi doesn't sell tv box.

never buy tv box from exhibition - for mibox, cheaper to buy from lazada or rakuten.

Confirm no local warranty from xiaomi as they don't even bring it in to Singapore. Probably just some in-house warranty from the seller.

If I buy the xiaomi tv box, I assume I need to connect it my LED TV (non smart).

Will I encounter any issues?

You will need to connect xiaomi box to the TV by HDMI cable. You can connect xiaomi box to your router via wifi. But if the distance is far, your connection might be slow and your streaming quality will suffer. Wired connection is better if you can.

Depends on what app u using. Some app requires VPN. Some don't.

I like this because it some how able to access my NAS files and allow me to play the movies from the NAS on my Mi Box. Therefore I would like to install this app into my another android box (Minix).

Install ES explorer on your minix. You can use it to browse your NAS and play video.
