Xiaomi Box Android TV Box

Lots of buffering and I need to press the OK button on the Xiaomi remote to get it going...that is inside xbmc. Other Xiaomi apps like VOD, shafa market apps, cloudtv is still tolerable..I am on M1 100 mps home fibre broadband.

Anyone can suggest how to reduce the buffering within xbmc? I am on 2 yr M1 contract and it is not expiring yet.

what is the addon you used when you encounter this problem?
and which server you chose?

Hi, just ordered The Xiaomi Mi Box 3, havent recieved it. however scared it might come in Chinese UI, so how do I change it? Do I do it this way?

I chose Cliq!, live streaming from I Live streams and news..
In fact any video within xbmc I will get buffering. I have chosen config wizard and did the clear cache, delete package options to try to reduce the buffering but they don't work.

cliq! is slow and of low quality.

there are many other better addons, you should use them instead.

if you want to test your xbmc setting, try youtube and hd trailer addons. Both should have smooth 720p video, if not, then troubleshoot your setting.

Surprisingly singtel fibre works good on the mibox. At certain time there's a bit of buffering nonetheless still watchable..

The latest firmware 1.3.65 supports english but you need 3rd party software to gain access to android system setting to change the language to english.

officially there is no box 3, should be called box2 enhanced.

as long as there is one full size usb port, and no RJ45 LAN port behind, you get the right model.

Oh, mine got USB port, no ethernet port. Wireless AC can get around 120Mbps, which is better than usb 2.0 10/100Mbps ethernet dongle.
so i wont get a dongle.
