I can watch Youku on my Mibox 3 today. I installed a app called Drony and follow the setting to set the proxy to unblock Youku, Sohu etc. Then I installed Youku for handphone and go to Shafa apps and it prompt me to update to Youku XL. So far tested all can watch.

Can't go back to 1.3.44 already. Both backup and operating OS updated to 1.3.53 already.... I also regretted updating to 1.3.53.... Now only pray that once Xiaomi introduce Mibox into Singapore they update the firmware again. Think will be soon liao either is end of this month of Nov 2014 liao.

I haven't updated my firmware yet but what's wrong with the latest version?

Buggy. DTS not working. Auto detect resolution buggy sometimes no display need to off and on mibox again. On and off will have sudden noise when switching pages. The wifi is cant get consistency always up down up down.

Hi,

I just received my box today from qoo10. I am on singnet fibre + starhub fibre in a dual wan router. Everything was working fine initially. However, when i updated vst 2.0 to vst 2.5, most apps become unwatchable.

I plug in the box to my laptop, uninstall vst 2.5, install vst 2.0 from the vendor. Everything is back to normal again. Many channels are
downloading at 1mb+/s

To add, i check now, the box is using starhub bandwidth automatically via load balancing. So i guess, singnet is not good

Hope this helps.

how do we block firmware updates?

I want to prevent accidental firmware upgrades.
