Did you waited for 2 weeks for the delivery?

I ordered mine from lazada by this seller lazando. have already waited for a week.

Just to add on. its shipped via DHL and the tracking page I'm getting this since 31-march:

i ordered from alzando via rakuten, his shipping is super fast.. i ordered monday midnight ard 1am++ i got it on thurs...

basically, i am hoping i just need to launch the Paid Sub app and key in tv channel number will do

android boxes will nvr work like those starhub dreamboxes..

android basically is streaming, if u want live tv channels might as well get those dreamboxes.

Thanks Gregory, how to install apks on the 4th generation mibox where there is no usb port? Can download straight away via wifi?

jus install the es file explorer first onto your box.. den can just bluetooth the rest over.. the apk will be inside the bluetooth folder.

thats what i did.. use hp to bluetooth the apk over so i no need to keep plug in plug out usb.. easier.

I managed to get it working pretty much out of the box. But not all apps support airplay. Youtube works perfectly for me as I can find the box when I press airplay button. For those apps that does not have airplay button, using mirror works but mirroring is not useful in most case.

Hi hwaa, thanks for the info! Maybe it's a different person.. By the way the package has just arrived. Took about 11 days since the day I ordered.

Just to share info with others, the seller shipped via deutsche post dhl. customer name was Alzando Limited. I guess it's probably dhl that is taking so long.

The seller actually send it out to dhl but on dhl tracking site it is showing "Processed in the DGM mail terminal" since 31-march. Not too sure why they took so long to send it out.

I am using fibre broadband 1gbs but still many movies are lagging
Also some time the movie keep cycling back the same section for ever

im using mi box 3 with singtel fibre 200mbps. just installed my fibre today. router is a Dual Band Aztech FG7003GRV (black color)

how come my mi box doesnt detect my 5ghz network? it can only connect to my 2.4ghz. i go into the wifi settings and see my neighbours' 5ghz networks so no reason it cant detect my own. the router is sitting right next to the mibox. connected via wifi and cant detect

so i tried to add the network manually by keying in SSID, pw, IP address, DNS etc but still cannot. can anyone advise? thanks

am hoping that the streaming wont be so lag if i use the 5ghz network. right now even when i connect the mi box with lan cable, it is as slow as wifi. am using apps like Pudding and dian shi mao

Go to the router's setup page to check whether the 5GHz wifi is enabled? I come acrosss a few with disabled 5G as default out of factory setting.

But even you can use 5G, you will have the same lag problem.

The 2.4G wifi or the lan should be fast enough for streaming. The problem is you chose the wrong apks.

hi greg, thanks for replying. lol im actually a fan of ur fb grp "tv box sg". and i followed ur advice to download shafa guan jia and shafa bi bei. from there i d/led 布丁 cos i saw u recommend it for tvb drama. i found it very slow and tried dian shi mao which seems to be a bit faster.

HDPtv for me is not too laggy but its not as high res. last night the HD fei cui (jade) channel was not HD lol. but watchable altho it buffered 10x during the 1hr drama.

when u say "Go to the router's setup page" means to go to 192.168.1.254/singtel ? i hv tried this, the 5ghz is activated.

can advise me how to add new network into the mi box? i go to the wifi settings, then i manually type in SSID, pw, DNS etc. after finish typing in, shd i choose 开启 or 关闭 ? seems like if i choose 关闭, all those things that i typed will be lost
