That said..I went to the original Shin Yeh but prefers the one at Marriott Taipei...really impressive TW food...need @RyanJ to take pic of their steaming pork liver dish.

p.s I had given up on JB dim sum...but that looks good..non-factory quality....either that or smoke gets in my eyes.

Sadly....we got there during a storm...so many typhoon destroyed umbrellas around us.....was trying hard not to get rain water on the lens... auto mode was so confused by the rain flying around us and the wind shaking my hand... sometimes..things like this (and Grand Canyon) can only be appreciated by one's own eyes..photos to bring back memories.

Dim sum in JB is not as finessed as sg if talking about restaurants in general but will still give kopitiam type dim sum a good run for money. KL will be a better comparison.

I would say decent. thigh meat, juicy.

the slice of cheese is probably some unmeltable kraft knockoff.
