If camera quality is what u want,11 pro or ultra is the one....or can be crazy like me ...go from mi11ultra down to mi11pro. Coz the primary camera is still the main focus. And i like it slimmer

The x5 optical zoom quality from ultra is hardly good enough for me....still can see all those flawed photo artifact.

Yup ....but of coz if price is right go for mi11ultra and u don't mind the huge bump.

Just 230+grams how heavy can it gets?
I hope future SW updates can further refine the camera algorithm so far I find that the auto hdr still kind of retarded under some lighting conditions. And the rear display better put it to good use like having video mode available as well. So far I never uses the front camera for selfie liao. Xiaomi should have abandon the front camera then the screen is perfect liao.

Finally join you guys. Sold my fruit phone and got my Mi 11 Ultra CN set. Going to unlock the bootloader and wait. It's good to be to be on Android. IOS is good too, extremely smooth and polish os. But it's not as exciting as Android but I do like that IOS can stop app from tracking the user. But I heard Google is going to hate something similar soon too...

Welcome onboard. Xiaomi EU rom can also stop google services from tracking the user. But it also means some app can't work properly. Like fitness app, navigation with traffic updates etc is just a balance you have to choose.

Thanks for the welcome bro. What settings are those google trackers under at in the EU rim. What browser are you using? Recently, I've been using Samsung browser and I have to say I'm quite impress with it...

Permission to access location some apps need access to it. Miui or xiaomi eu rom will usually pop up on and off and ask u if u want to disable access.
I using Google chrome as I have many stuff all link to google one.

Thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. I'm going to read this thread a lot and I'll probably be asking some noob questions as well. The last time I flash a Xiaomi rom was on my CC9 Pro. It was quite straight forward as I flashed the cn rom to global rom using the Mi Flash tool. But for the Mi 11 Ultra. I was reading on the EU rom forum. Some said that you need to fastboot the EU rom and some said you need TWRP. Not sure which is which. And I remember someone mentioned that you need to flash the cn rom to global rom first, only then can you flash the EU rom. While some said you can flash straight to EU rom from cn rom. It's confusing. Hahahahaha...

Cn rom or global rom can just flash with xiaomi eu rom. As long as u format the phone before flashing xiaomi eu rom. For now mi 11 ultra flashing latest rom 12.5.7 only TWRP. No fastboot available.

Eh ...if you are talking about the main camera it's the same. Zoom wise ....ultra better with that optical 5 x . But I don't find the zoom nor the gimmick 120 scope rubbish good enough....so sacrificing the zoom bump for a slimmer 11 pro with the same primary camera that ultra is using is a better choice for me 😅

If you flash before....u will get it sooner or later, just need some refresh course lol.

11pro comes with telephoto too but not as good as the 11ultra.
I already sold away my 11Ultra as it too heavy on daily hand-carry..

Dunno why xiaomi in Singapore dunno wanna take in the "11pro version" as well.

Thanks for the advice. I'll definitely need a refresher course. Hahahaha. Any idea what's the official TWRP for Mi 11 Ultra? And do I install TWRP first and then flash to the latest EU rom?

One more question. When I took the phone off the wireless charger. There is a prompt message asking me if I want to keep the wireless charger fan on or off. Where in the settings can I find that function? Thanks

PS : When I sign into my Mi account. Do I need to switch on find my device?
